THROUGH THE CENTURIES

The first stone of the Country House was laid in 1832 and, as was common at the time, its construction was connected to subsistence-based agriculture and animal husbandry. Due to rural flight in later years, it was abandoned and progressively began to deteriorate over time.

In 2012, almost two centuries later, we, the Villarroya - Belles family, put all our effort and enthusiasm into remodelling the house to give it a second life. Thus, the El Cabrero Country House was born, a special accommodation for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway under the stars.

READING ROOM

The El Cabrero Country House has a specially dedicated reading space, a room that spans more than 100 square metres. It also serves as a unique place to enjoy your breakfast prepared with local products. Seated at the table or relaxing in one of our armchairs, the window from this reading room offers a spectacular view of the valley.

GAMES ROOM

On the bottom floor, the El Cabrero Country House offers a 90 square-metre games room with multiple tables, an ideal place for both children and adults to get together and play chess, cards, dominoes or any other type of game. 

BARBECUE

The El Cabrero Country House also has a barbecue with grills, and two tables with seating capacity for up to sixteen people. The barbecue area is covered, meaning you can enjoy a meal in the open-air with your family or friends all year round.

GARDEN AND FARMYARD

The organic garden and greenhouse at the El Cabrero Country House are open to visitors, as well as the farmyard, where you are welcome to feed the goats and chickens. A fun and educational opportunity for the youngest family members.
